Square or rectangular pieces of chocolate, individually wrapped, such as those currently manufactured by many chocolate brands such as Amedei, Leonidas, Domori and others. Neapolitans are also frequently made for promotional purposes for hotels, coffee shops (to serve with a cup of coffee, for example) to either promote a particular brand or to give away as a premium. Wrapped Neapolitans are also sold in boxes of assorted flavours. Neapolitans were manufactured by Terry's in York, Yorkshire. They were particularly popular around Christmas time in Britain. The flavours were: *Blue - Milk Chocolate *Red - Plain Chocolate *Brown - Mocha (coffee flavoured plain chocolate) *Turquoise - Cafe Au Lait (coffee flavoured milk chocolate) *Orange - Orange Milk Chocolate *Pink - Orange Plain Chocolate Terry's also produced a selection of mint-flavoured neapolitans and cream-filled neapolitans. They would occasionally be sold in alternative packaging such as jars.
